This is a chapter from my book called The Inspirationalist (http://amzn.com/1447866576). I wrote this book as my dedication towards +Dodo Newman who inspired and motivated me in several times during my road. She taught me one very important thing, which was to not give up our beliefs in a positive solution. She taught me to keep up and to continuously believe in my aims. Thanks to Dodo I realized that I can always challenge the existing because we are able to improve things, to innovate.
I would like to share my feelings, the ups and downs that covered my road. Ups and downs of the first shocks experienced during dictatorship, through materialism, communism to the final spiritual freedom, which is following my aim, what I really love and what inspires me.
Being who you actually are and want to be and not what others want you to be or how society wishes to see you. There are very few people who dare to show and be how they really feel like. It takes courage, lots of positivity and open-minded spirit to show our real selves, modern society tends to build boxes into which people can put themselves and by which they can “judge”, compare each other. If one cannot be put into one of these boxes, they are automatically considered “abnormal”, just different. Just as there are no similar fingerprints, there are no similar people in the world. We are all very unique, with hundreds and millions of differences in the outer and in the inner side as well. Recognizing this and making this our guide in our lives is admiring and to be only followed and not looked down.
What is real friendship today in the World of Facebook friends? What does it mean to have online friends we have no idea who they are, just some facts, when their birthdays are, where they live, what quotes they love....we say "you are my friend" and that's it. Everyone is a friend and when someone really needs a friend they cry out to all their hundreds and thousands of friends, who know seemingly everything about them but no one is there....no one comes to help them, no one calms them down, there is no one to listen to what they really have to say...that's the world of empty words.
And when you tell someone you are their friends, you love and care for them, it is often not really accepted and not even heard.
Life can be the cruelest teacher and yet can give the most by taking away the most. It is not all about pink clouds and magic wands. It is about finding the truth, the magic hidden during the grey moments and the dark times of our lives. It is about getting up, going ahead and continuing no matter how hard we get struck by Life. You have to be willing to take in the strikes, the hard moments, the cruel changing points that Life throws in front of you if you want to win, if you want to find your magic. And it will depend upon you whether you will win or not, only you, not on anyone else.
Big aims equal big obstacles; a step ahead will face with counter energy of the same size as the energy it faces. We can reach our aims only step-by-step, inch-by-inch and all the steps we make ahead form our path. Living and waking up every day is the fight for these steps ahead, it is the one who is willing to take up the fight and who is willing to give up everything, to face anything for victory who wins at the end. Because behind every story of winning there is a history of struggle, of pain, of dying once or more, of risking, of making certain sacrifices. No one can say it was easy for you, or you were lucky, or you were in the right place…no one has the right to judge anyone’s success and fight for victory.
